PRIMARY SCHOOL TENNIS BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL

At Playtennis we are passionate about providing a fun, positive tennis experience for everyone so that tennis can be enjoyed by all regardless of ability, age or financial status. We have established formal partnerships with many primary schools in Perth where we deliver affordable tennis before and after school.

Tennis helps to develop hand- eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, balance, agility, speed and flexibility, skills which are also transferable to many other sports. Tennis also fosters positive social skills, discipline and sportsmanship as well as honing strategic and problem solving tactics.

As well as acquiring these skills and developing overall good health and wellbeing, when taught proper techniques from an early age, children are far more likely to achieve results, enabling them to play and enjoy tennis as a lifelong sport.

  • 🎾$140 for 8 weeks.

  • 🎾Starts in WEEK 2 of the school term.
    🎾Can be delivered BEFORE school or AFTER school (dependent on individual school).
    🎾We work with each school to plan the start and finish times for the lesson, to enable children to get to/from class.

  • 🎾Tennis lessons are structured but extremely fun.
    🎾Our programme is based upon the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots programme and PlayTennis is a recognised Tennis Australia ANZ Hotshots provider.
    🎾Basic stroke technique is taught right from the beginning which helps children to quickly and efficiently progress to playing actual games of tennis.
    🎾The tennis programme uses lower compression balls, smaller tennis racquets and in some cases smaller playing areas depending on the age and skill level of your child.
